Small Business of the Year – Martin Hambleton Photography

Last Thursday the Altrincham and Sale Chamber of Commerce held its third annual Business Awards.  For the third year running I was there photographing the event for the Chamber.  However, this year there was one slight difference …

… because I was also given the award for Small Business of the Year.

That’s me receiving the award from Mike Fox, senior partner of Slater Heelis, the sponsors of the category.  Thanks too to Jon Cheetham from Trafford Biz Connect magazine for stepping up to the plate and taking the photos that had me in them!

So, an unusual event in that I was there wearing two hats – one as a working event photographer (a role I’m very familiar and comfortable with) and two, as a nominee for an Award; in fact for two awards, as the Start Up Business Services group I’m part of (see earlier threads for details) was nominated in the Start Up Business category.

The full list of winners this year is:

Small Business of the Year – Martin Hambleton Photography

A big thank you to Darren Proctor from Radio Key 103 for hosting and keeping things running along so smoothly, and to the Chamber President Sue Aldridge for handing out prizes so well, and smiling so beautifully in all the shots!

Until next time …
