Tenth Business Awards for Altrincham & Sale Chamber of Commerce

Maybe it’s a sign I’m getting old …

Last week I photographed the tenth annual Business Awards for the Altrincham & Sale Chamber of Commerce.  I remember being asked to photographed the first one back in 2012, and have been at every one of them since, except for 2020 when it was held virtually because of the pandemic lockdown.  I even won an award myself in 2014, for Small Business of the Year (which caused me some consternation in trying to figure out how to get a photo of me receiving the award).

What’s great is having an archive like this, which contains photos of all the different people who’ve been associated with the Chamber during this decade.  Some has been long-term members, others have come and gone.  Businesses have started, grown, gone from strength to strength.  A few, sadly, are no longer around.  It’s amazing looking back through the photos and seeing all the familiar faces.  It will also form a part of the history of the Chamber for future years to look back on.  Honestly, it’s quite a privilege to have been able to create an archive like this.
